Knights of Columbus:
This Catholic fraternal organization sponsors social and fundraising events that benefit the parish, our community and special projects for the Knights of Columbus charities. Many members take part in various liturgical functions at the parish and elsewhere. Membership is open to all Catholic men 18 years of age and over. Member meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.
Society of St. Vincent De Paul
This is a non-profit multi-purpose outreach association of the Catholic lay faithful. Opportunities for service include home visits, Advent Giving tree, fundraising, food and clothing distribution and more. Our work is the Gospel message in action. Member meetings are held the first Sunday of every month.
Catholic Women of Immaculate Conception
The mission of the Catholic Women of Immaculate Conception is to strengthen fellowship among the women of our Parish through service to the Church and to each other with religious and leadership programs and social activities. To accomplish these objectives the organization has goals to: conduct monthly business meetings with informational and/or entertaining programs; to support independent committees, groups and ministries within Immaculate Conception Parish, as well as other charitable groups/causes, and to raise and maintain the funds needed to support the group’s mission.
Young at Heart Club
The senior citizens of the parish get together at various times of the year to have lunch and play cards and other social activities. An annual Diamond Club Birthday Party is held in early summer especially for those 75 years young and up. An opportunity to have lunch with the Bishop is also provided. These events provide a chance for seniors to have social interaction with their peers.
Parish Youth Group
The purpose of this ministry is to strengthen the spiritual lives of young people. It is an important part of our parish community life. The Youth Group develops faith formation through group discussion and social gatherings for youth grades 7-12. Opportunities for service to the parish and community are promoted. Participation in Diocesan Youth events, including the annual Youth Rally in Columbus, as well as the National Catholic Youth Conference are encouraged.
These parishioners help to beautify the grounds of the parish by pulling weeds, planting flowers in the gardens, etc. on the Church property.
